On June 13, 2024, Pro Screed, Inc. had the privilege of contributing a laser screed rental to a significant project at the S-JV Battery Cell Georgia site in Kingston, GA. The pour took place at 5059 Hwy 411, Kingston, GA 30145. Our skilled operator, Jason, expertly managed the laser screed pour, ensuring that the job was completed with the precision and quality we are known for.
The S-JV Battery Cell Georgia Project is part of a larger initiative by Hyundai Motor and its JV partners to produce electric vehicle (EV) batteries in the United States. By 2026, these batteries will power Hyundai and Kia EVs manufactured in the U.S., making them eligible for U.S. tax credits. Given the importance of this project to the future of automotive manufacturing, Pro Screed was honored to play a role in laying the foundation for this state-of-the-art facility.
The pour at the Kingston site was critical to the progress of the battery plant, which will play a key role in the production of EV batteries for the U.S. market. Jason’s expertise and attention to detail ensured that the concrete was leveled and finished to perfection, setting the stage for the next phases of construction.
This project exemplifies Pro Screed’s commitment to delivering top-notch results, especially on jobs that contribute to the advancement of technology and sustainability.
