On August 8, 2024, Pro Screed, Inc. completed a 10,000 square foot laser screed pour at the Covington Airport, just 10 miles down the road from our base. The project took place on a hot summer day, but our experienced operator, Jason, handled the job with precision and efficiency.
While the exact purpose of the pour—whether for a runway or a building—was unclear, the project was significant. The pour is part of a larger effort by Archer Aviation, which recently announced its partnership with automaker Stellantis. Together, they plan to manufacture Archer’s Midnight vertical takeoff aircraft at a new Covington facility.
Given the importance of this development, it was crucial that the concrete work was flawless. Jason ensured the laser screed pour met the highest standards, laying the foundation for what could be a game-changing facility in the aviation industry. Despite the intense summer heat, the job was completed efficiently, with the precision that Pro Screed is known for.
This project was another opportunity for Pro Screed to contribute to a forward-looking venture in our local area. We take pride in being part of such innovative developments, knowing that our work lays the groundwork for exciting future possibilities.
